Invoice Processing Automation

The client processed 2,000+ invoices monthly across 15 vendors, each with different formats. Manual data entry consumed 200+ hours per month with a 4.5% error rate causing payment delays.

We built a document AI pipeline using OCR + LLM extraction to handle any invoice format. The system validates extracted data against purchase orders in their ERP, flags discrepancies, and auto-routes approved invoices. We used n8n for orchestration and Supabase for the data layer.

Processing time per invoice dropped from 12 minutes to 45 seconds. Error rate fell from 4.5% to 0.5%. The finance team saved 200+ hours monthly, redirected to strategic forecasting.
